*A maintenance emergency is defined as a situation that has caused or will potentially cause damage to the unit or building in which you live. Please report these situations immediately.
Some examples of this are:

Leaks, broken pipes or overflowing sinks or toilets

Electrical Shorts

Gas Leaks (please contact Washington Gas www.washgas.com to report a leak and follow their instruction.)
*A maintenance emergency can also be a situation that causes your home to be unsafe or uninhabitable. Please report these situations immediately.
Some examples of this are:

Broken locks which keep you from properly securing your home

No heat when outside temperatures are below freezing

Un-serviceable toilet – unless you have a second toilet in your home
